Project Management Training

Optima P3 Management, Inc. holds training sessions which are geared towards organizations and individuals who engage in projects but do not have the technical skills and knowledge in scientifically managing projects.  

While Optima P3 Management, Inc. holds public seminars on the basics of project management, Optima P3 Management, Inc. also delivers customized training sessions to organizations depending on their needs and the nature of business of the organization.  Past training sessions were done for IT firms and those coming from the construction industry.

The current focus of typical project management courses are time, cost, quality, and the planned work to complete the project's deliverables. But other areas of project management that usually create the "unplanned project work" (which usually account for at least 50% of the project team's actual work) are left to chance, forcing many project managers to "muddle through" their projects. Optima P3 Management, Inc. also covers these other project management areas - issue management, project assumptions and constraints, risk management, change control, and acceptance management.

The first highlight in most of Optima P3 Management, Inc.'s training sessions and consulting engagements is the use of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure the completeness of the project's scope and to facilitate in tracking the progress of a project. Another highlight is the use of Earned Value Analysis and Earned Schedule Analysis - tools that would allow the project manager to determine the actual percentage completion of project work, give an estimate of the delay in schedule, the expected cost or time overrun, and an over-all health status of a project.

Optima P3 Management, Inc.'s project management training sessions usually have a duration of 3-4 days.  These training sessions can be conducted at the client's site or at the TIP-Center for Continuing Education (CCE) training center in Arlegui, Manila. We have already conducted training sessions for project managers, project coordinators/leaders, or project administrators from different industries and sectors -- IT (software and infrastructure), logistics/supply chain, food and beverage, construction, telecommunications, and the public or government sector.

Project Management Consultancy 

Optima P3 Management, Inc. can assist organizations in their project management needs by providing consultancy services.  The scope of consultancy services varies depending on the needs of the organization and the industry it is in.

Project Management Outsourcing 

Optima P3 Management, Inc. has the resources and the network needed in providing actual project management services to organizations.  This service is targeted to both start up and established companies which are engaged in projects but do not have enough project managers who are knowledgeable and experienced in project management.
